We have located an inexpensive emergency radio that can be powered by both batteries or by hand cranking. 2 AA batteries are included, but if they go dead and you forget to replace them, the radio and flashlight will still work by hand cranking the radio. We’ve tested this product extensively and have found that 1 minute of cranking the charger at 2 turns per second will allow for approximately 10 minutes of radio play, while 1 minute of cranking the charger at 2 turns per second equals about 75 seconds of flashlight use.
